The city’s primary responsibility is to keep our families safe, and Bill’s top priority is improving the safety of the public. Our police and fire officers need the support of the council to do their job protecting our neighborhoods. Bill supports increasing the number of patrol police officers and ensuring our fire personnel are well-equipped to respond to emergencies. Bill champions community policing efforts that build trust between officers and residents and believes in smart investments like better street lighting, surveillance technology, and data-driven crime prevention. Bill’s goal is to ensure families can feel secure in their homes, parks, and neighborhoods.
IMPROVE CITY SERVICES
Bill Roth believes Dallas must do the basics better. We must fix the roads, keep the lights on, and make the city work for everyone. From a $10 billion infrastructure backlog to crumbling sidewalks and traffic congestion, Bill knows we need real solutions, not excuses. He’ll focus on streamlining city services, prioritizing road and sidewalk repairs, modernizing traffic signals, and increasing transparency in how public works are executed.
PROTECT SINGLE FAMILY HOMES
Single-family neighborhoods are the backbone of District 11, and Bill Roth is their strongest defender. He supports preserving single-family zoning to maintain the character, stability, and quality of life in Dallas neighborhoods. While open to thoughtful development in appropriate areas, Bill opposes the forced introduction of high-density housing into established residential zones. He believes land use changes should be driven by community input, not top-down mandates, and will fight to ensure residents’ voices guide neighborhood planning, not bureaucrats or developers pushing unwanted density.
INCREASE TRANSPARENCY
Bill Roth is committed to making the Dallas city government more transparent and accountable. He believes residents deserve real-time access to how their tax dollars are spent. Bill supports public access to detailed budget data, departmental spending reports, and regular town halls where constituents can ask questions and offer feedback. He’ll push for performance-based budgeting and thorough audits of city programs to eliminate waste. REDUCE TAXES

​With the increasing costs of living, Dallas must hold the line on increasing taxes with the goal of cutting taxes. Bill believes in cutting wasteful spending and conducting departmental audits. By attracting new businesses and growing the commercial tax base, the city can generate the needed funds to provide essential services while lowering the tax burden on residential property owners. Bill will work to reduce the burden on families while ensuring Dallas remains a thriving, affordable city for all.
